Company's History and Success:
The Eastern Company is one of the largest Iraqi companies
in the field of commercial representation and marketing.
Our company is committed to working for the international
business interests of its clients and to promote their
products and services in Iraq.
We already represent or have a cooperation agreement
with over 15 well-known international companies. We
were established and licensed from the Iraqi Ministry
of Trade in 1989 (license #148/89 dated: 4/10/1989)
in accordance with current Iraqi laws concerning companies
and commercial agencies (companies law no. 11 of 1983)
and (Agency law no. 51 of 2000).
Our work is devoted to promote our clients' products
and provide necessary services as needed. This includes
following up and implementing all concerns of the represented
companies inside Iraq. Our services start with the introduction
of the company's products and services inside Iraq all
the way through finalizing their supply contract and
receipt of its goods by the end user.
The Iraqi economy is considered one of the strongest
in the Middle East as Iraq still has one of the largest
oil reservoirs in the world. In the near future, when
peace is established, Iraq will be establishing a new
political system and leadership. This system will almost
certainly have a more open trade with the U.S. than
the previous one. With this in mind and the definite
lift of UN sanctions, these changes will create a suitable
environment for U.S. and international manufacturers.
The Eastern Company's role is to search for reputable
international manufactures and suppliers and interest
them in either exploring the Iraqi market as a potential
target for their product or resume their activities
if the suppliers already had worked in the Iraqi market
before 1991.
Our company has already succeeded in negotiating and
finalizing contracts between several Iraqi customers
and the international companies that we represent. These
contracts have exceeded a total amount of thirty five
million USD in the past six years alone. Per UN agreements,
all contracts are UN approved and have been implemented
successfully with customers' full satisfaction.
All this success was possible because of the mutual
efforts of the companies that we represent and the successful
planning of The Eastern Company's top management.

Contracts
The Eastern Company had signed and executed completely
many contracts via its principals with different Iraqi
Governmental bodies such as Ministry of Oil,Ministry
of Transport and Communication, Ministry of Industry
and Minerals…etc and their affiliates. These contracts
have exceeded a total amount of eighty million USD in
the past six years alone. Per UN agreements, all contracts
are UN approved and have been implemented successfully
with customers’ full satisfactions.

Exhibitions:
It is worthy to mention that our company has participated
in several sessions of Baghdad International Fairs
(BIF) as a promotional representative of our principals’
focusing on their business and commercial activities
in Iraq as well as to recruit their reputations for
the interest of new clients.
Our role exceeds giving biographical history of our
principals and their brochures as usual occurs, but
we have focused our attention on strengthen existence
of them either with regular clients by affording the
latest products and technologies or with new clients
by inviting them to seminars to explore the benefit
literally.
